WHAT IS YOUR FIRST MEMORY OF DIRT?

from a canary torsi

a participatory score for this time

Follow the instructions to the right to add your voice to an archiver of intimate stories of first encounters of land, addressing family, friends, home, games as well as rules, terror, and forbidden actions.

Instructions

You need a recording device (a phone would do).

It takes as much time as desired but as little as 10 minutes.

Read the questions below and respond as desired and in any language.

You might write your responses to all or some of the questions and then record yourself reading your responses in one take.

Or, you might record and speak off the cuff without writing your responses.

When you record, be in a quiet room. Hold up the phone so that the microphone is angled towards your mouth about 8" away.

When you are done, please email your audio recording to hello@acanarytorsi.org.
